SENEGALESE MISSIONARY PAYS COURTESY VISIT, URGES MEMBERS TO SUPPORT PST KUMUYI
In a heartwarming atmosphere of faith and unity, members of The Deeper Life Bible Church (DLBC) Ondo-South were recently encouraged to bolster the ministry of their General Superintendent (G.S), Pastor W.F. Kumuyi, through fervent prayers and unwavering support.
This inspiring message came from Pastor Adeniran, a dedicated missionary from Senegal, during his recent courtesy visit to the campground, for the Retreat and Global Crusade with Kumuyi(GCK).
Pastor Adeniran attended the impactful Global Sunday service and Retreat at the virtual location in Ondo-South campground in Ondo City, Nigeria, where he used the avenue to remind the congregation of the critical role that prayer plays in the growth of any spiritual ministry.
The missionary urged congregants to actively engage in prayer for the strengthening of the GCK convener and continuity of GCK, emphasizing its significance as a tool for spreading the Gospel far and wide.
“We need to get more zealous, prayerful and support the ministry of our G.S, so that GCK will continue and not stop,” he proclaimed.
Speaking further, he said “We thank God for the GCK platform which has provided a gateway via the aid of social media to penetrate places where there are barriers to the spread of the gospel, but your zeal and prayers are vital for the success of this mission.” he said.
He further highlighted the pressing need for members to remember missionaries in their prayers.
“I know you have been praying for missionaries in different parts of West Africa, East Africa, Middle East, Senegambian nations and places where the gospel is scarcely talked about, we cherish more of your prayers so that believers there would be established in the Truth, and that the word of God will have effect upon the people.” he stated passionately.
Pastor Adeniran encouraged church members, group coordinators, and sectional heads to remain steadfast in their good works.
“I can see the various work going on and various structures springing up, the work you are doing is being recognized, and your efforts in advancing His kingdom are recognized in Heaven,” he affirmed, instilling hope and determination in the audience.
Closing his address with a heartfelt prayer he drew from Psalm 40:1-3, he reassured the congregation that as the New Year approaches, burdens of sorrow, sickness, and defeat will be lifted, making way for joy and victory.
However, Pastor Ibrahimo, the state overseer for DLBC Ondo-South, expressed his gratitude to have the presence of such a spiritual monarch and cassock in their midst.
“Having spiritual leaders like him among us is a true blessing. When you have people of God like this, you are always happy, seeing their consecration, commitment and humility, you are very much encouraged that- what you have read in the Bible that seems impossible is actually practicable.
“That is why I am happy to reveal Pastor Adeniran, who is a Father of father's to you,” Pastor Ibrahimo said excitedly.
The global event, which had its transmission from The Deeper Life International Conference Centre (DLICC) in Lagos, lasted from December 20th to 25th, under the theme “Power for Present Possession.”
As the six-days power packed Retreat and GCK attracted virtual audiences from various regions, states, countries, continents and nations of the world, serving as a platform for global reach and impact in spreading the gospel to every creature, interestingly, the final GCK in the Year 2024 gloriously heralds Akure, the capital of Ondo state as the next GCK Alpha location in 2025, starting from the 22nd-26th of January, with the theme- “Following The Covenant-Keeping Shepherd.”
