INCREDIBLE PATHWAY FOR A BLISSFUL UNION


 THE ENDURING POWER OF TRUTH IN MATRIMONY


Even if you've been married for long, the joy of witnessing two love birds at a wedding ceremony has the propensity to reawaken the conjugal bliss between partners whose matrimonial homes have fallen apart.


This was the case at the Deeper Life Church wedding, held on August 10th at Hope Street, Alade Olowosokodile community of Fagba,

Lagos State, Nigeria.


The celebrants, Brother Michael Oladipupo Atewogboye and Sister Oluwafunmilayo Felicia Abu from the Magodo group, beamed with joy and laughter as the solemnization of holy matrimony marked a redefining moment for the couple.


The solemnization began with the bride walking majestically down the aisle, while the seated groom awaited her arrival, the prelude of the organ setting the tone for the sacred ceremony.


The prayer, congregational hymn, scriptural pronouncement, and reading preceded the main event, followed by a thought-provoking sermon that provided ample opportunity for older couples to set or reset their marriages on the right path.


The preacher, emphasizing the need for couple to seek the truth in Jesus, delivered a powerful message that resonated with the audience.


"The truth has the power to make your marriage indomitable, unassailable, and free from external aggression and distraction," the preacher declared.


"Seek the truth, and let the truth become your preoccupation, for we can do nothing against the truth but for the truth."


The preacher's call for transparency, integrity, and honesty in the home struck a chord with the attendees, urging the newlyweds and seasoned couple alike to eschew deception and embrace the transformative power of truth in their union.


"Endeavor to speak the truth with one another in the family," the preacher admonished.

"Don't allow deception, don't lie to one another in your union. Speak the truth in love."


The reception that followed the ceremony took a distinct format, with choristers ministering solely to the groom and bride, without the larger percentage of the guests on seat.


The rendition, titled "Love in Our Home," captured the attention of the two love birds, who listened attentively as the atmosphere was agog with the lyrics that spoke of the enduring nature of love and its centrality in the marriage institute.


"Wherever there is laughter ringing, someone smiling, someone dreaming, you can live together there, love will be in your home," the chorus sang.


"Wherever there are children singing, where a tender heart is beating, you can live together there, love will be your home."


Indeed, love may be the central theme, not only in the marriage institute but the currency needed in every heart as we play our part on earth's planet.


However, the message from this wedding ceremony is clear: Truth is the foundation upon which a lasting and fulfilling matrimony is built. Truth is the needed route for a union to survive and thrive!
