A RELEVANT REQUIREMENT FOR GETTING APPROVAL WITHOUT SHAME!
Isn't it true that knowledge is power but information is key.
Indeed it's what you know that gives you an edge.
But the pertinent question is how do I get informed, in order to have an edge while becoming irresistible in my workforce?
The answer is an open instruction given to a young sharp named Timothy.
The instructor who was his mentor undoubtedly was an accomplished Preacher with notable feats in the Ministry during his lifetime.
His lifestyle attested to that of diligence and studying.
His life of studying relates to the importance of being a leader who is also a dedicated reader.
Hence, Apostle Paul exhorts young Timothy to-
"Study to show thyself approved unto God, a workman that needeth not to be ashamed, rightly dividing the word of truth."
This verse underscores the essential role of diligent study and learning for those who aspire to be in leadership and service.(spiritual, educational, political etc)
Just as Timothy was encouraged to immerse himself in the Scriptures, great leaders throughout history have recognized the power of being voracious readers and lifelong learners.
By consistently investing time into expanding their knowledge and understanding, they equip themselves to guide others more effectively.
We see this principle embodied in another passage, when Paul asked Timothy to-
"Bring the cloak that I left with Carpus at Troas, and the books, and especially the parchments" (2 Timothy 4:13).
This demonstrates Paul's own dedication to learning, even in the midst of his missionary travels and imprisonment. He understood that continual study and reflection were essential for effective ministry.
For today's leaders, the principle remains the same. Whether it's diving deep into industry research, exploring new philosophies, or consuming the wisdom of other influential thinkers, the most impactful leaders are those who make reading and learning a top priority.
By modeling this diligence, they inspire those they lead to do the same, fostering a culture of intellectual curiosity and growth.
Just as Paul exhorted Timothy,
You should likewise - "Study to show thyself approved."
Cos, it is only through your innovation gotten from a place of study that would grant you a worthy reputation that commands fame and not shame because you've rightly divided the needed duty.
This invariably will glorify Abba as your life gets human and Divine approval.
So, by embracing the joy of learning and the power of the written word, we position ourselves to become the kind of leaders who can guide others with confidence, wisdom, and a true mastery of our respective fields.
