GOALS BACKED UP BY GRACE!


When David decided to face Goliath,

Saul discouraged him not to make that costly attempt.


Goliath ridiculously belittled the small Shepherd boy who had no sword nor shield, except for a few stones and a sling.


Eventually,

Goliath's sword became a potent tool,

which was instrumental in giving David the final victory over this wicked foe.


The bottom line was-

David's goal was a great one, but it was valid!


The main goal for this huge attempt was for God's Glory and not for selfish ego!


His affirmation at the valley of confrontation with the Giant revealed his topmost goal and intention.


“And all this assembly shall know that the LORD saveth not with sword and spear: for the battle is the LORD'S, and he will give you into our hands.”

1 Samuel 17:47 

This day will the LORD deliver thee into mine hand;...that all the earth may know that there is a God in Israel.

1 Samuel 17:46


This great goal got a divine backup!


God had no choice than to back up this small shepherd boy.


Infact,

Goliath requested for a man to contend with, when he declared in “1 Samuel 17:8b,

“choose you a man for you, and let him come down to me.”


Amazingly,

God gave him a boy backed up by Grace.


So,

Step out in faith today and go get those great goals of yours accomplished by His Grace.

Assuredly, the result and outcome will Give God Glory!
