CANADA GCK: BE BLIND TO COLOR, DEAF TO GRAMMAR- PST KUMUYI
BE BLIND TO COLOR, DEAF TO GRAMMAR- PST KUMUYI URGES CHRISTIANS TO EMBODY SPIRIT OF UNITY
In a concluding powerful address at the grand finale of the Canada Change Makers Conference and Global Crusade with Kumuyi (GCK) in April, internationally acclaimed Evangelist and GCK Convener, Pastor Dr. W.F. Kumuyi, inspired Christians to adopt an attitude of unity, humility, and service.
The spiritual leader, a former university don, emphasized the importance of good character, declaring that a sound attitude attracts wholeness and fosters true Christian fellowship.
Pastor Kumuyi shared profound insights on the significance of attitude, noting that the word "attitude" itself carries an essence of perfection, as the sum of its alphabetical letters equals 100 percent.
He therefore encouraged all believers to embody attitudes that reflect Christ's character, stating that such qualities lead to spiritual maturity.
Urging Christians to embrace inclusivity, he said, “Be blind to color, blind to culture, and deaf to grammar.”
The spiritual monarch boldly condemned racial discrimination, emphasizing that differences in educational backgrounds should not divide the body of Christ.
He reminded the congregation that in Christ, no barrier should exist between people, for unity in spirit transcends all earthly divisions.
In his sermon, the spiritual leader drew inspiration from the example of Jesus Christ in Mark chapter 5, explaining how Christ’s perfect attitude allowed Him to overcome every challenge—relating to disease, casting out demons, and conquering death.
“You will be a solution provider and deliverer, turning lives right side up and impacting the lives of both men, women, and children,” Pastor Kumuyi declared, recognizing that humanity faces various struggles, from mental health issues to rejection.
He said, “Some people suffer from the problem of the mind, but with a good attitude, you can bring healing to their troubled hearts.”
Pastor Kumuyi warned the congregation against belittling others, urging Christians to minister to all people, regardless of their background.
“Don’t despise anyone. We are called to reach out to all categories of people,” he said, urging believers to prioritize unity and compassion in their daily interactions.
The preacher further encouraged the congregation to embrace a vision of enlargement, saying, “You have to lot of things to overlook while thinking of enlarging your vision and taking the next line of action.”
He challenged the global audience to act with intentionality, urging them to take positive steps toward growth.
Concluding his powerful charge, Pastor Kumuyi prayed for the congregation, emphasizing that with a good attitude, anyone can achieve greatness.
"You will make progress, and in this next level, God will sustain you," he assured them, adding, “No more idle days or discouraging moments in your life, because discouragement is only an emotional moment. When you get in motion and embrace your vision, you will overcome it.”
The vibrant audience responded with joy and anticipation, eager to hear about Pastor Kumuyi’s future plans and next line of action, as the Convener had previously shared his recent travels to America, Australia, and Vanuatu, underscoring his relentless pursuit to spread the gospel to the ends of the earth.
The Canadian congregants, thrilled to host Pastor Kumuyi for the brief yet impactful event, looked forward to the possibility of having a greater GCK conference in Toronto.
Meanwhile, the Asaba GCK, initially planned for Delta State, Nigeria, gave way for the Canada conference, underscoring an urgent need for global outreach in the vast harvest field for souls.
